What items do you own that could be used for ministry?
I have allot of clothes that I have outgrown or I just dont want. I also have a car(1997 Saturn) that i dont use anymore.Unfortunately it needs a new transmission. But, the scraps and some parts can be donated if it was to be sent to the junk yard then donated to the church or detroit Conference.
Does Jesus or the church have any claim to those things you own? Yes. Jesus has claim over everything I own because withouth him I wouldnt have anything. My church does too because at some point in my life the church donated toys, food, money(scholarship after h.s graduation) and many more things.
When have you seen people giving things to churches/ministries that really made a difference? This summer at my site diffrent churches have come to serve all the people involved in the summer youth program.Without asking for anything in return. This has really made a diffrence because not only are the lunches great but, they saved the parents allot of money.
