Empty Bowls Soup Supper

First United Methodist Church of Birmingham will be hosting their annual Empty Bowls Soup Supper on Ash Wednesday to commemorate the Lenten season and remember that their are those who go hungry while we, ourselves, will participate in the Lenten tradition Jesus set so many years ago.

Guests are invited to purchase tickets ($10/person or $25/family) upon arrival at the dinner at 5p.m. and enjoy a meal of soup and bread from some of the best restaurants and bakeries in the area. Diners will receive a unique, hand-crafted bowl, many of which are decorated by the N.O.A.H. Project bag lunch participants.

Entertainment for the evening will be given by N.O.A.H. volunteers, clients and staff.

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit The N.O.A.H. Project.
