Hi, My name is Weade Kobbah.I am a Mission Intern stationed at Secon Grace United Methodist church.A mission intern is a young aldult in or a graduate from college that is trying to make a change in and out of their community.We have ecumenical partners in ministry with the poor, or with other Christian action groups dealing with human rights, reconciliation, and development projects.We help low income families by instilling bible stories about faith and leadership skills for any career in the future.

This week I was talking to my bestfriend about my job and how it has impacted my life in many ways. And she became intrested herself and wanted to come experience all the good things she was hearing. But, she didnt know how she could be of help bec she has never worked with children.I remembered that she is a film major and photography is something she is good at. So, for our closing progam and Fun day my bestfriend will be there with all of her equipment taking pictures of everybody and the great moments.She volunteered to do it for free and will send the pics to me afterwards.The pics will be used for next years flyers and promotions to influence more children to come. I will also put some on here.

1.Chapter One
-I do know some"Outsiders".I consider them friends dispite of their relious views.I think their perspective of Christianity is that they have not been exposed to the church and its culture.So, they assume we worship only one way and want everybody to believe what we believe.

- Young people like to try to be as "unnorm" as possible. They like things that are exciting and not tradition because they are always trying to set a new trend in some way.

.Chapter 9
- How can your group or church begin to creatively express your faith in new and fresh ways?MY Church has found ways to craetively express our faith by exposing young urban christians to experiences that most never get the chance to. Such as themission interns volunteer two weeks out their summer after our scheduled duties for the conference. We go up in Onstead,Mi and we are camp counselors to all types of under privelaged children from diffrent cities in MI.Mostly detroit.
